Volunteer Opportunities From: Pet Resource Center of Kansas City

Join us at the Pet Resource Center of Kansas City's home base for a drive-thru vaccination clinic! Volunteers help with traffic control, customer service, paperwork prep, taking payments, handing out resources, and much more! This is a great opportunity for pet owners in this area to access basic preventative care at our most affordable prices. These big, busy events wouldn't be possible without volunteer support. Come help us vaccinate over 100 pets in need at our home base!

This is a 1-doctor event, but that won't stop us from helping a lot of pets out there get the vaccines they need :)

For folks who prefer to volunteer in their own home on their own time! There are a few ways to help from home:

Set up a time to come to the clinic and pick up donated supplies. Take them home and prepare them for our vet team to use. Bring them back within a couple weeks and pick up more! Items may include pill bottles to be washed, newspaper to be sorted for lining kennels, bed sheets to be cut and ripped into strings for ecollars (plastic cone collars). Peruse sites like Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for pet items in good condition being given away for free. Kennels, carriers, litterboxes, toys, leashes, bowls -- anything that could help someone take good care of their pet. Safely pick up these free items and bring them to the clinic when you have time.
