Wednesday Sterile Pack Prep for KCK Thursdays

Our new and exciting Hybrid KCK Surgery Day is PRCKC's off-site spay/neuter and vaccination event that happens on Thursdays at KCK Animal Services. We're looking for 1-2 volunteers who can come to the clinic on Wednesdays and help our team get stocked for Thursday by cleaning instruments, wrapping/labeling packs with indicators, and running the sterilizer machine. 

What you'll do: (training provided)

• Clean and inspect surgical instruments (rinse - sanitize - dry)
• Assemble and wrap packs with indicators; label, date, and initials
• Load, run, and document sterilization cycles in the automan
• Cool, shelve, and stage packs for KCK day
• Restock supplies and clean up

You're a good fit if you:

• Are detail-oriented, careful with procedures, and take initiative
• Can commit weekly on Wednesdays for a few hours
• Communicate clearly and follow written instructions/checklists
• Are comfortable standing, doing light lifting, and repetitive tasks
