It's raining cats! Kitten season is here, and to help protect as many feral cats and prevent as many homeless kittens as possible, we're holding a community cat clinic. This is a special day where we will bring in a large number of feral cats to be spayed and neutered. Come help out and enjoy Waldo Pizza for lunch!
Hours: 8 am to approximately 4 pm. Volunteers, please arrive by 7:30 am for a briefing and to help prep.
For this event, we prefer if volunteers can work the entire day, but will also accept volunteers who can only work part of the day. Please email breanne@snkc.net if you would like to help but can only work a partial day.
Volunteer roles:
- Keep groups of cats organized by running them to/from vehicles and labeling traps
- Weigh and record weights for all cats in traps
- Assist with cat recovery after surgery, re-line traps with paper, put cat food in traps, return cats to traps (SOS or vet tech experience required)
