Ride along with our mobile vet team! The mobile vet assistant provides customer service to clients and helps with prep in between stops when we go out on house calls in our mobile unit. This may include filling out client forms, accepting cash payments, answering client questions, drawing vaccines, contacting clients via cell phone, and more. Join a fun team, ride around the city, and meet lots of pets and their people!
Note: Since this is a longer shift, the team will break for lunch. Bring some food or snacks with you, or some money in case the team stops to pick up some food.
Volunteers in this role must:
- have good people skills
- work well on a small team
- have good customer service skills
- have good handwriting skills
- be able to climb in/out of a transit van
- be punctual
- be organized
Bilingual a plus!
