Our friends at Wayside Waifs are hosting their annual Strutt With Your Mutt event on Sunday, September 28th! This is a fun morning that includes a 3k walk/5k run, photo ops, vendors, a doggie costume contest, and more! We need 2 volunteers to help represent PRCKC and all we do at our Information Table. We will be specifically promoting our volunteer program, all the unique opportunities we offer for volunteers, and how important the work is!
Set up is from 6 am - 7 am and the event runs until 10:30 am. Wayside is expecting 1,000 dogs and 1,500 people to attend!
Ideal Volunteer Traits:
- Have great communication and people skills.
- Be prompt and dependable.
- Work well on a small team.
- Be able to talk about PRCKC's volunteer opportunities and share your experience!
- Be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather.
