Help us tackle one of PRCKC's biggest behind-the-scenes projects!
We're putting together a small "Cave Crew" of 3-5 volunteers to help organize our storage space and prepare supplies for future outreach events and clinic operations this weekend, Saturday, August 15.
During this volunteer opportunity, we'll work together to:
- Remove trash and dispose of expired or unusable items
- Sort pet food and other resources
- Reorganize supplies to make everything easier to find
- Bring useful supplies back to the clinic for future use
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy staying active, organizing, and seeing the immediate impact of your work. Every hour spent organizing our storage helps our staff and volunteers work more efficiently and ultimately allows us to better serve pets and families throughout our community.
We're planning for approximately 3 hours, but if we aren't able to finish everything, we'll schedule another Cave Crew day in the near future.
Volunteer Requirements
This opportunity is best suited for volunteers who:
- Are comfortable with moderate physical activity
- Can lift and cary boxes or supplies (with assistance when needed)
- Are comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving items throughout the shift
- Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes that can get a little dusty
What to Bring
- Reusable water bottle
- Comfortable clothes
- Closed-toe shoes (required)
- Work gloves if you have a favorite pair (we'll have a few extras if needed!)
