We need volunteers to represent SNKC and tell visitors about the ways we can help support them in caring for their pets. We will also be giving out pet food, treats, and pet supplies. The event takes place at Sanford Brown Park, at E. Linwood Blvd. and Brooklyn Ave.
Convoy of Hope is a nonprofit event, serving guests of honor–in dozens of communities throughout the world–by providing them with free groceries, health and dental screenings, haircuts, family portraits, meals and much more at community events.
The Convoy of Hope event:
- Distributes over 35,000 lbs of groceries
- Provides medical and dental screenings
- Hosts a job fair & career services
- Host a community resource fair
- Has photographers on hand to take family portraits
- Has a Kid Zone area
