We are so excited to announce our partnership with the KC Shepherd's Center Meals on Wheels program! Introducing: Friday Meal Delivery! They have built us a large Friday route of pet owners- we will deliver both people and pet food!
On Fridays from 9:30-12:30, we'll send a team of volunteers and staff to make these deliveries using our transit vehicle. We'll provide the pet food, and the frozen meals will need to be picked up at the Central United Methodist Church (5144 Oak KCMO 64112).
Volunteers will meet at PRCKC to load the transit with pet food, then drive to the UMC to load up with frozen meals.
Volunteers in this role must:
- be on time
- be well-organized
- have good people skills
- if interested in driving: be comfortable with/able to drive PRCKC's transit vehicle
- if interested in driving: have a valid driver's license
