Work directly with our puppy training instructor, Christine Blank, to help puppies and their owners form stronger bonds! Supervisor volunteers assist the instructor by greeting participants, prepping and handing out materials, monitoring puppies and owners during class, and assisting with training exercises as needed. Animal handling and dog training experience is highly preferred, but is not required. The instructor is willing to train the right person.
Classes are taught in 5-week sessions, typically with a 3-week break in between sessions. Class is from 6-6:45 pm on Tuesdays, unless otherwise noted. Volunteers must arrive early to set up and stay after to help clean up.
Please sign up to help with all/as many dates in a session as possible.
Volunteers in this role must:
- be on time
- be able to take direction from the instructor
- have good people skills
- have the ability/comfort level to potentially lead exercises/give instructions when asked
