Help keep pets cool and safe this summer! Volunteers are needed to head out on patrol with our Outreach team to do wellness checks for outdoor pets, hand out resources, and provide information for pet owners. This is an essential service when the weather gets hot! Meet the team at the clinic then head out into local neighborhoods in our PRCKC vehicle.
Volunteers must:
- work well on a team
- have excellent communication skills
- take direction from team members
- easily climb into/out of Transit vehicle
- be able to do some possibly heavy/bulky lifting (pet food bags, supplies)
- maintain a nonjudgmental attitude
- adhere to PRCKC'S Core Values: Be Helpful, Build Trust, Be Compassionate
