Do you have kids or grandkids that love pets and love helping? Join PRCKC's Paw Patrol! (Note: Anyone can do this job, you don't have to be, or have, a kid!)
Paw Patrol volunteers are kids and their grown-ups (or people of any age) helping our guests and their pets while they wait in the parking lot. Hand out water bottles to people, fill water bowls for waiting pets, and grown-ups can help determine if clients without a/c need to come inside to wait with their pet, or answer questions from the clients.
This opportunity is available on weekdays only.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Kids must be at least 10 years old
- Kids MUST volunteer with a parent or guardian
- Must be outgoing and cheerful
- Must be able to be outdoors for up to 2 hours (with inside breaks as needed), moving around the paved parking lot
- Kids must have good listening/direction-following skills
- Must follow PRCKC's Core Values: Be Helpful, Build Trust, Be Compassionate
