Weekday Outreach Team

Description

NOTE: This opportunity now includes the responsibilities of the former Resource Receptionist role.

Get active in animal welfare! As an outreach volunteer, you will:

  • Assist the outreach team with tasks in the clinic: Sorting donations, prepping pet food and treats, cleaning and organizing the outreach/pantry space, and more.
  • Assist clients coming in to the clinic needing assistance with pet food or other resources.
  • Ride along with outreach staff to do deliveries, transport pets with medical needs to/from the clinic, wellness checks for outdoor pets in local neighborhoods, and more.

Volunteers must:

  • Be prompt
  • Be able to do some light physical activity
  • Be able to work well on a small team
  • Approach new people and situations with a nonjudgmental mindset
  • Follow PRCKC's core values: Be Helpful, Build Trust, Be Compassionate
  • Be ready to meet new people and pets and spread some happiness and relief!
