Our friends at Wayside Waifs are hosting their annual Strutt With Your Mutt event on Sunday, September 24th! This is a fun morning that includes a 3k walk/5k run, photo ops, vendors, doggie costume contest, and more! We need 2 volunteers to represent PRCKC. We will be specifically promoting our volunteer program and all the unique opportunities we offer!
Set up is 6-7 am and the event runs until 10:30 am. Wayside is expecting 1,000 dogs and 1,500 people to attend!
Volunteers in this role must:
- Have great people skills!
- Be prompt
- Work well on a small team
- Be able to talk about our volunteer opportunities and share your volunteer experiences!
- Be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
- Follow PRCKC's Core Values: Be Helpful, Build Trust, Be Compassionate
