The Spay & Neuter Collaborative of KC (SNCKC) is a group of local shelters and animal welfare organizations that have come together to combat the animal welfare crisis in Kansas City. Our shelters and streets are full of homeless pets who deserve better! Spaying and neutering is one of the most powerful ways we can ensure a better quality of life for pets, with fewer of them on the streets and more of them in loving homes.
A select number of organizations will offer FREE spay/neuter services March 8th-10th. The Pet Resource Center will be altering DOGS only FREE OF COST on Saturday, March 9th!
We need volunteers to fill a variety of roles, including:
- Greeter/Client Check-In
- Pet Runner
- Spay/Neuter Clinic Assistant
- Surgery Pack Prep
- Client Communications (calling owners to come pick up their pets)
- Client Check-Out
- Kennel Attendant
- and more as needed!
Volunteers for this event must:
- have excellent teamwork skills
- have excellent communication skills
- be able to take direction/guidance
- be flexible/adaptable
- work efficiently
