Help connect people in need with important pet resources!
The Penny Mill Foundation is dedicated to helping diverse inner-city communities by bringing together "various ethnic groups...to empower our communities." We have been invited to share our info and resources at their resource fair geared toward supporting low-income communities.
Volunteers will need to pick up items at the clinic in the days before the event, and must be able to return them promptly in the days following the event.
This event takes place in Blue Valley Park (E 23rd St. and Topping Ave in KCMO)
Volunteers in this role must:
- Be able to walk/stand/lift/set up a table, canopy, and folding chairs
- Be able to sit outdoors in various weather conditions (likely sunny and hot)
- Have good people skills and enjoy interacting with others
- Be able to talk about PRCKC services and opportunities
- Embrace PRCKC's Core Values: Be Helpful, Build Trust, Be Compassionate
